bear's first underwater adventure. now visits to the aquarium remind me of getting certified to dive in the dark Seattle waters. I got sick and couldn't stop myself from puking in my regulator . . . I really love air.

Sitting in Sun

From a sunny walk a week or so ago. When it is here, its really here, when its not, its really not. Makes me appreciate those days so much more. I am one of those Seattlites who feels guilty if I don't go out and do something outside when the sun is out. Even if that just means sitting in it. I would probably even go as far as to sit outside a coffee shop, hands around a cup, in the freezing cold, as long as its a sunny cold. When I go visit friends in sunny places I am always amazed at how they can stay inside when the sun is out, especially with me pacing around their living room feeling anxious about the fact that its 11am the sun has been up since 7am and we sill haven't gone outside! Its place perspective I guess. They have the promise of another sunny day while Seattle always keeps us guessing. This sunny day guilt is definitely ingrained in my bones and I wouldn't have it any other way, its good to go outside.

Failed to snap an image of the rest of the meal , my camera didn't make it out of my bag until dessert arrived. That has to be a sign of a good meal. The best part: Oysters on the half shell, olympia, blue pod, penn cove & fishhook fjord. yummmm.

A shout out to my girl (you know who you are). You and me? we are going to this restaurant sooner rather then later and going all out. The baby is staying home.
