Its the simple things . . .

Sleeping in, breakfast at home, a walk in the hood, talk of the future and dinner out. Not bad for the first day of 2012. Its a "no resolution" kind of a year, but the intentions and aspirations are endless.

We can miss so much . . .

I started this blog as a way to revisit the things that I come across each day that make me think, appreciate, act, or smile; the things I pass that make me feel inspired, full, content, or right.

After giving birth to my brand new baby boy, I was reminded how fleeting life can be. It goes by "in a blink of the eye". My baby is growing so fast, and I don't want to miss a thing. This thought led me to realize just how much we do miss in life. We walk by beautiful, interesting, creative & amazing things each day and we don't think twice. We don't stop to acknowledge those things the way we should.

So this blog will be full of those things, as small and as simple as they might seem, they have led to some feeling that is worth stopping for, or at the very least remembering later.
